Ocean Material – UE4

Been experimenting ocean simulation with Unreal Engine 4!

Still at the vertex level, its a start at least 🙂

I’m open for suggestions on what techniques/technology to use for the next phase!

      Glad you liked it!
      I haven’t used any fancy technique, there is no FFTs and stuff like that, like you see in AC4 for example.
      I used a combination of multiple waves calculated from Sine waves.

      I used the as a base Ocean Waves Using World Position Offset

      When I get time, I will post my own version here. But that should get you started.

      Btw, if you know a way of illuminating the ocean in real-time, since the rendering system still thinks its all a flat plane…
